Vintage Style Springtime Engagement in Santa Rosa

As the seasons change, I am continually inspired by new and vibrant color palettes and for my engagement shoot with Melissa & Jeffery at Crane Creek Regional Park in Santa Rosa it was really starting to feel like spring. This was actually my first in-person meeting with Melissa and Jeffery since they had booked with me back in August! I’ve always felt that the engagement shoot is an vital part of creating a closer connection with wedding clients but it has been doubly important while booking weddings during Covid because our face-to-face interactions have become extremely limited. Some sort of consultation prior to booking is always a must, but during the engagement we’re really able to understand how we work together and I get a whole hour to see you two interact as a couple before the big day.

The session gave us time to not only create some stunningly romantic images but to also hang for an hour and talk without feeling like we’re interviewing each other. I’m so excited to see what they do with these images and I can’t wait for their summer wedding!
