Ditch the shot list, your wedding day isn’t a photoshoot. Do I want to know what’s most important to you? Hell yeah! Will we capture the juiciest wedding portraits of your dreams? Absolutely, I’ve got your back for all those formal photos and I will offer my direction, guidance, and expertise to make sure they look amazing. What I’m not going to do is dictate your every move— or miss what’s actually memorable while I’m checking off a 100 point list.
As a documentary photographer I’m watching, observing, and capturing the full story of your wedding day. I’m not here to stage a bunch of phony moments because it might look cool. Like the name says, it’s about documenting your day. Trying to predict what a “perfect” moment is and taking time to recreate something we’ve already seen at another wedding takes away from your very personal wedding story and puts a filter on it.
I’m not just taking pictures for you, I’m taking pictures for the future, for everyone that wants to revisit your wedding day even if they’re weren’t there.
