As a Sonoma County photographer, this was such a special project for me! I actually partnered with Davines Haircare and a local salon to feature the women behind many of the local farms here in Sonoma County. It emphasized the company’s focus on sustainable products paired with women in sustainable farming (and also they got a free haircut and style). Images were printed on giant canvas and featured in the salon. I want to say they were supposed to be part of a larger national campaign but, it debuted right before the pandemic so that kinda fizzled… I’m honestly not sure what Davines did with them but, I know these ladies really appreciated these portraits and I really enjoyed meeting everyone and creating one of my favorite collections 🙂
